YAS Summer Showcase

The YAS Summer Showcase will feature two new Young Artists - Alex Taughinbaugh & Zoe Levine.

Alex is an aspiring Singer/Songwriter who will be joined on-stage by fellow YAS Alums Ian King and Brett Hooks and new YAS performer drummer Cameron Ogden. Alex is an incoming high school senior and will be performing several original compositions.


 

 
Zoe is a Music Therapy candidate at West Virginia University. She will giving a dynamic presentation on Music Therapy and her experiences in the field as a Music Therapist including original music and other songs she incorporates into her practice. Zoe will also speak to the issue many young aspiring artists are faced with; What does a career in the Arts look like? Zoe will be joined on stage by her brother Milo Levine who is a first year music therapy candidate WVU.


 

 
Fresh off a blistering Streetfest performance and the release of her self-titled debut record, Lucia Valentine will be performing/recording several cuts off her new record in an acoustic format accompanied by guitarist/producer Scott Smith.
 

 
Come on out, and support our aspiring young artists and enjoy this great night of music! The Young Artist Series is a non-profit organization that pairs professional musicians with young aspiring musicians offering the best in music education, mentorship and entertainment.
